I disagree. I think Stappy was oblivious to the juggernaut that was created when Creed entered the world of Arena Rock. I've said it before, I'll say it again. Stapp wears celebrity like a pig wears a prom dress.  He doesn't like to go out in public, he bitches his way through practically every interview, PR appearance and fan contest these days and it just seems to me like he wishes it would all go away. Well, Stappy, that little stunt you pulled in Chicago was a good first step in that direction, IMHO...
 
And let me also make it known that the day Creed breaks up I'll likely need to take the day off from work and go somewhere and sulk for a long, long time. Unlike some, my position has never swayed. I've always been a huge fan of the band and its music but I've never really liked Scott Stapp. I think he's the quintessential spoiled brat.

That's what happens when you become a celebrity.  Stapp wanted to become a rock star and I'm sure he knew media was going to bring up personal things.  If he didn't want people to know about his personal life then he wouldn't have became a rock star.  The media digs into your personal life all the time and you can't stop them because their going to it anyway.  That's their job to do stuff like that, so deal with it.  I sure of some you probably like don't this music or this singer but oh well I'm going to say it.  Summer of 2001, Mariah Carey was in the media a lot for a trying to commit suicide and having mental breakdown.  The media made up lies about her trying to commit suicide but that didn't happen. Yes, she did have a breakdown only because she is works too much. She never any took time off and didn't know how to say no.  All she needed was some rest but no the media had to make up of stories to make it sound more interesting for the readers and listeners.  Gossip is always going to be around whether you like it or not. So shut up and get over it already Megan.

Gossip is okay?  Gossip is disgusting and rude, in my opinion.  I don't think celebreties TRY to paste their personal affairs all over the media.  Just because it's there, as in just because it's in the news, doesn't mean you have to feed into it.  Practice empathy for Scott, meaning put yourself in his place, or any famous person, for that matter.  Would you want your personal life and private affairs pasted all over the media.  Think about something embarrassing about your family, just like Scott's dispute with Hillary.  How would you feel if everyone was gossipping about that?  And if your business was all over the media, wouldn't you hope, however unlikely, that people would have the decency not to spread it around like childish 3rd grade girls passing notes?  Honestly!
